Seek & Findings

Seek & Findings reveal a variety of research projects and objects of investigation that Bitten Stetter edited as a writer and scientist in context of her academic work, as well as her work as an independent designer and artist.
Her research interest concerns especially the social changes and social shift, her design-comprehension is located in the tension between Critical Design, Social Design and Speculative Design.
The focus is on an intense approach to the subjects of identity, as well as the observation of everyday culture and the lifeworld analysis. Bitten Stetter zooms in a diversity of phenomena in fashion and lifestyle like Jeggings, High Heels, Bikini Bridge, Kuduro and the Favela Style. She puts these phenomena in the context of society, culture and economy with the aim to articulate future developments and pioneering spaces of opportunity, derive design strategies and provide recommendations for action.
