Fitting Tales – the textile publication
Bitten Stetter, as the tailor of tales, presents a new product line called "Fitting Tales" and leaves the traditional rhythm of designer collections behind. She is bored by fashion uniformism, synchronized global players and textile disposables. And thus reacts towards the fast paced trends of today by treading new paths and presenting "Fitting Tales" - her concentrated comprehension of design – as a fashion tale, which tells of marvelous and zeitgeistly occurrences. Bitten Stetter sees herself in her new chosen role, beyond the mainstream, as a counter public in fashion and as a publisher in trends. These circumstances give her exceptionally large liberties in terms of content and design.

Fitting Tales informs
To inform stems from the latin "informare" = to form, to give sth a form. This is the main thought behind "Fitting Tales". The clothes not only form new trends, or the body, but also playfully form the state of the wearer, especially his of her point of view and feelings. Thus it is a message embedded in textiles, that could activate in the wearer a change in his of her thoughts, actions and feelings.

Fitting Tales unites authors
The content is determined and supported by the philosophy, ideas and prognoses of the designer. In regard to the creation of new worlds, the cooperation with other designers, musicians, artist and authors point towards subcultural movements stemming from different perspectives of design. It is thus that through the interaction of clothes, accessories, photography and illustration the readership is engaged with all senses into the story-world of "Fitting Tales".
